What NOT to Say to a Pregnant Woman

Here's a sampling of actual comments people have made to me over the last couple of months:

"Wow, you look like you're about to pop."

"So how many are you having? Three...or Four?"

"You look like you're about to drop that baby right out."

"You are having one, right? Not like, eight?"

And then there's no shortage of strangers who like to consider themselves prophets of delivery dates:

"When's your due date? Oh, you won't make it that long."

(sigh) Oh well. Only 11 days to go. I'm not sure how big Seth is, but the way people stare at me, I'm expecting a toddler to walk out. We'll see. Until then, I smile politely and wait until my back is turned to roll my eyes at the silly things people say.
